Struggling with low readership, increasing production costs and declining advertising sales, Mental Marketing’s executive team worked with The Ritz-Carlton corporate communications and their publisher to breathe new life into the prestigious branded luxury lifestyle travel magazine.
The project included a complete new advertising sales structure, content architecture and design – from cover to cover. To add value to the reader and each hotel, editorial blended award-winning global travel features with local events, culinary and shopping content. The reinvigorated program became profitable and an effective branding vehicle for cross-promoting Ritz-Carlton grand openings, including Bachelor Gulch, Lake Tahoe and Boston Commons.
